wondering if anyone has information about this flight conducted in nsw . it was in 3 different newspapers and the nerandra library has information . the articles may not be in order but should be interesting for aviation history buffs.

2 sea containers with a roof across the middle heaps of those setups around wa. I like them because you end up with storage each side and your hangar in the middle.

i am confused, are you keeping it the shire airstrip. i thought you were flying out of your place. at west sale airport they have concrete blocks you just drag out to where they are needed and tie the plane to them. the wind howls through there and they work fine.

We get a bit carried away in here. Just cut and polish like you said at the start. Finish with a good quality wax.

That's why we love 2k. I used to paint machines in industrial enamel. It only lasted a year or 2 before it faded. 2k was a leap forward when it came out.

It's hard wearing and retains gloss for a long time. If you want easy repair you paint in acrylic. Is that even still available. I don't know of anyone spraying cars in anything but 2k

Lots of things have cyanide in them. Why would you be spray painting without a respirator

In the boating world gelcoat is kept polished . Eventually it will wear thin, then it's gets a gelcoat respray or the preferred method these days is paint in 2 Pac epoxy. Lighter than gelcoat and long lasting. I thought jabirus were painted in Matterhorn white 2 Pac instead of gelcoat.. someone will correct me .

its a bit of oxidising for christs sake. polish with one the many restorers avialable at any auto parts store or boat shop and wax it when your finished.

its cleaner and quicker and cheaper. epoxy is excellent for strength. even if the skyranger is epoxy it probably has some sort of poly gelcoat. any marine gelcoat restorer will do the trick. i have brought a couple of boats up like new by rubbing oil onto them. restorers probably do something similar.
