  2. No the musketeer is Russell the CFI. I thought there may have been more than one gazelle. I don't know what aircraft live at the eastern end. There was a nice kitfox flew in as well.
  3. so it wasn't you i saw on the weekend. there is a blue gazelle that i see a fair bit, i thought it was f10.
  4. wagga bike tyres
  5. is that what viagra is for, i take to stop myself rolling out of bed.
  6. the 912 got changed out. as for my jabiru, what i am feeling may be normal. i need to pull over another hot jab to see. it runs like a clock, smooth and quiet, doesn't mean it won't crap itself, sort of expect it to when you own a jab.
  7. I have seen a 912 uls standard that was fretting the case joint. The crank getting tight to turn by hand. Actually my jabiru is like that when it's hot but turns easier once it cools down.
  8. Those big bores have been fitted to a lot of engines and you don't hear if any problems.
  9. I know where there is a 912 uls in a box that has 3600 hrs and still passing all tests, it was only removed because the owner thought it was time but it still performed flawlessly.
  10. I know someone that had his 912 bumped to I think 115 HP with the big bore kit done at Moorabbin and it has proven reliable.
  11. the bloke in moorabbin that hots up rotax motors charges around 10 k for a big bore kit fitted but it may be more now like a lot things post covid.
  12. My Lycoming clock doesn't burn a drop of oil. It is timed out or on depending how you look at it 😁
  13. i watched you land on 23 on the weekend. nice looking aircraft.
  14. i will have it at home marty. i can post it monday. won't be home til the weekend.
  15. Is it a mk 3 with twin Su,s
  16. never thought of it before, it makes sense nev, how could you even have a pocket of air in the air. its like having a pocket of water in a lake.
  17. making me envious. fantastic scenery as usual.
  18. really good explanations. thank you.
  19. i did think you had a commercial rating. i wasn't shit stirring that time.
  20. i have been in one for a couple of circuits. pretty impressive climb rate. i wish i had kept mine, it was the first 55 ever sold and converted to 912 for hedlow flying school. they reckon it went like a cut snake with the big 3 blade warp drive prop.
  21. my mistake. i thought you were a commercial pilot
