True, it would be better if there markers. But, presumably, the pilot did a full circuit. That's what a circuit is for - to pick up things like power lines.
Unfortunately flying was cancelled yesterday (Jan 12) and today (Jan 13) because of weather. The forecast does not look good for the next few days - all the side effect of the cyclone off the WA coast.
I've never seen a Wilga in the "metal" but I think they have a type of utilitarian beauty. From what I understand they are well liked by their pilots. Does anybody know how many there are in Australia?
