Costa Rica 99

Its March of 2025 more than 3 yrs after these posts , yet the conversations have been immensely useful for the project I have been working on , I am in Costa Rica and purchased a J250 from the US , the Jab engine has no support here and the Rotax does , i have mounted the engine (100hp ) with the Edge fuel injection system and Woodcomp constant speed , the fuel injection adds 10 hp to the engine and the constant speed 15%++ so I am not concerned with the 20hp difference as I suspect the difference will be net zero and the benefits will be many .. the biggest stress I am having with this aircraft is access to the rear of the panel , its insane that every things needs to be done from underneath… if anyone has ideas how to deal with this I am all ears
