Tell us about your first solo
Max Headspace replied to Admin's topic in Student Pilot & Further Learning
It may not have even been as long as Orville's first solo of 12 seconds. And like his, it was straight ahead up and then back down. But I didn't have a brother or sister to help me build my airplane. And I did have a lot of other people's experiences to guide me. That first flight was most of the length of a long grass field. The next one, a couple minutes later, was a complete rectangular pattern.
