This may seem like a silly question after 30 years of flying - but I always have problems finding pens that will write effectively on the GA style maintenance releases - any ideas ?
First one I saw was in the James Bond film - but they blew it up !! I would like a standard one with the Franklin engine - but there are quite a number have been modified for heaps more horsepower
Thanks guys - just wanted to get a view on what people have at the moment - liability is by far the biggest part of the quotes I have got for insurance for the Auster !!
After flying other peoples aircraft for 30 years I have finally done it - bought a 1944 Auster MK V - looking forward to having it here in the next few weeks !
There was one - and a Tiger Moth - not there now. There is another in pieces on the field but want something more operational ! (its not for sale anyway)
Flying Wild Alaska is my favourite - the Alaska Wingmen is almost documentary - not "flow" - but still good. Ice Pilots is fun too.
I wonder when someone will produce a show on flying in PNG
