  1. Never correct answer there. KP.
  2. Well said Turbo.. There is the case one must comply to the laws of country. In this case who gave the directions to be different? KP
  3. What you are saying there F_T.... RAAus does not travel in a straight line. If they were wood ducks you would be hungry as they would not fly in a straight line so you can get a good shot so you get a feed. KP.
  4. If you wish you can say that F_T. But why change the rules mid stream? Imagine the noise next state election --- at close of voting Saturday the experts get together and extend closing to Monday. Imagine the yelling. KP.
  5. Yep storchy, Long go - look what kasper revealed. Look what he revealed about the voting, he was cracked off. Cut off and every excuse was used so his views did not have to be considered. So the voting rules are just "Rafferty's Rules", altered to suit the occasion. KP
  6. Regarding the mess it is in. Some of the ones (they said they were the experts to fix it) at the helm are the ones who were making a big noise regarding the previous boards efforts. Looks like they are doing a worse effort, *A mess exists. *Finances are dwindling super fast. *Plus...What have we not heard. KP
  7. Well Col, It is not a bother to me if a person's life skills dose not extends to spelling and grammar. It is what is in their is heart which is the large consideration. What about the people who engineeed the scuttle of the change for the medicals - those people should be degraded in the list of human assets. They are the people who should be hoyed out. KP.
  8. Here is a good chance to vote correctly, to start a "stop" all this indecision. Now cherish this opportunity. KP.
  9. Oh! What folly. I still sit in wonder the noise of yesteryear, the old board was running with poor governance. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. So was is this voting exercise? I say it is a case of poor governance, governed by "Rafferty's Rules". Look at Kaspers dilemma regarding the Tech. issues, really shows the Tech. Manual's/Tech.manager's disregard for the members wishes. (None) KP.
  10. How does sending the 503 to the US and getting it returned -- compared with a new 582 from Bert Flood. Will the 582 be too big for the transplant.? KP.
  11. I read this thread with great interest. I would like to know some facts - because a great deal of truth is missing. I do like Frank's comments as those comments would be factual as he was on the board when all the manoeuvring was happening. Frank is telling the truth. All the snippets about the place as how the 800 yes votes were collected -- the truth would be good to know, how this was done and by who. The other goodie is as I understand from readings -- Spencer Ferrier was the designer and engineer of the new structure of RAAus. Is this quite honest as he was on the board AOPA at the time? As I see the situation this will fit into conflict of interest. KP.
  12. Good one Bill..... mmmmmmmm......... that CV bit could be Oh! so true. Nothing to do with s.a.f.e.t.y will come out of something like that.??????? I know I have been banging on about the practical aspect to no avail. I hear Katie has moved on, wonder why?? KP.
  13. Hello ClintonB, I wonder is it all AustPost to blame? When were the mags given to AustPost to distribute? AustPost can not deliver mags if they are sitting in an office. KP
  14. Frank I think there could be a protest vote coming up, how large is yet to be seen. Basically a yell from the anti mates brigade. KP
  15. Commercial operations money has to change hands. Regarding weight there are those we fly about indoors and there are the spy ones which are silent and big as a large grass hopper. Now for the weight categories there are those which are the very small ones to the large commercial ones and there are those in the middle, CASA is not 100% sure how to manage them -- yes CASA come out with information but this information contradicts its self so what hope have we. Regarding Pauline's issue - the bush barristers have grabbed the story as if the drone is operating for a commercial activity. I ask -- who weighted Pauline's drone? None of them have given us its weight. KP
  16. After all that I would look about Europe, UK.. Just a long shot South Africa. KP
  17. winsor68.. What is the weight of that drone you have in mind? The governing factor for the activities for these drones is their weight. Every one here -- is speaking as one size fits all. Far from what is the elective operating parameters. KP
  18. What is correct weight of that quad copter? Do you all realise, weight is the governing factor of the operating parameters of a quad copter. Till the correct weight is established no one can comment with an accurate view. Too me it looked small. KP
  19. Not hard to find a cure for a lot of problems. I think the action would be a bit like pruning citrus trees that is *dead wood *water shoots *non producing branches. The last I looked -- AOPA is not included in the committee and no mention of the crop dusters, so how can that be a very good cross section of aviation industry. KP
  20. Thank you Frank, he will be fat and shiny he comes back from that holiday. KP.
  21. You have me lost there Wally.. I have 230 Jab -- cruise 120 knot -- fuel burn 20 litres an hour. I do enjoy discussing these facts with the Cessna brigade. What is the fuel burn of the Lancair? I know I have to consider fuel usage for economic reasons. KP.
  22. The oil does a lot of internal cooling, hence the short life of the oil. OR.. It should be changed regularly. KP.
  23. People dream eh Turbo? How could anyone think about it in the first place. I do think that what testing is all about, "never to be bypassed". KP.
  24. Hello Oscar, elon #11 claims it is a Camit engine. KP.
  25. Just a curly one ------ Seeing it is a Camit how is the engine going to be repaired? KP
