  4. For sale is a warp drive hub (536.3 TTIS) with Bolly blades (68" diameter, 341.1 hrs) fitted by LAME. $1,200 (was asking $1,500). From Nynja ‘Spirit of Kittyhawk’ which its owner changed up to a DUC propeller to increase speed. Includes the back plate, prop bolts and spinner. All undamaged.
  5. Best that you read the moments on the aircrafts w&b sheet; it will show the info about the seats and the fuel tank behind and the effects of differing mass weight at those positions. It's important to know. Cheers.
  6. Probably depends on the type of plastic, performance based no issue with what you have. Also the Savannah wing tanks as an example are plastic, also performance based no issues. Must be ok.
  7. Measurements as discussed. Blue Cessna tow handle.docx
  8. This leads to something I have been saying on and off for a while. When traffic is selected, and it stops (eg lose service etc) it needs to so on the display clearly. Even a large x that does not hamper the display information. On occasions my traffic stops receiving and I think the sky around in clear. I've had GPS units where when lat and long is out an x displays in the window. Same would be nice on ozrunways with an x through the traffic box top right of screen.
  9. Have got it will measure when home
  10. Agree, the wreckage pieces will have dents, gouges, scratches, etc that will be identified as in air origins rather than impact with the ground. The investigation experts will gain such evidence.
  11. until

  12. I have for sale a balance master for propellers fitted to Rotax 912 engines. In as new condition no longer required as now use a dyna vibe dynamic balancer on my prop.
  13. My apology Ian, was busy at hangar today and yesterday and plain forgot to grab it. I'll get it tomorrow and the info to you.
  14. What are you working on?
  15. There seems to be a work around. A friend is looking at purchasing an LSA that is approaching 15 years on the engine. I do inspections and conditions reports and have done ones for him in the past. I gave him a list of details to ask for and questions for RAA. Particular questions regarding LSA, engine on condition and the constant speed prop services due and replacement time etc. He spoke to Jarrod and the way forward for this aircraft is as mentioned above (Aircraft is placarded as LSA). I stay out of the direct inquiry (unless engaged to do such) as it's up to the interested buyers decision. I'm booked to do an inspection on weekend which will be a detailed look and or a condition report if requested.
  16. They issue a CofA, a mate got a quote to sort an issue of an LSA aircraft that is 2010 build and Rotax will be 15 years soon. Told by RAA that a LAME can issue a CofA and then able to run engine on condition. Can't use for teaching etc. Cost approx $1,500 for CofA.
  17. Just finished adding a bit of width to the arm rest to make it more comfortable. And also changed out the cord for some light gauge stainless steel chain to take out the springiness. Looking forward for a fly soon.
  18. FATAL PLANE CRASH OAKDALE 12:40PM, Saturday 26th October Emergency services have responded to a fatal plane crash in Sydney’s southwest today.
