  7. If you do your pilot cert in a microlight trike, you only get low performance because cruise is less than 80 kts.

  9. It's great to get back into the pilots seat today! After 2 weeks off, we couldn't of asked for a better day at Caboolture. We did some stalls and some other stuff. Hope this weather stays with us for a while. Happy Flying!! Scoob:clap:

  15. www.eModelAirplanes.com These guys are pretty cool. They can custom make any model you like if you email them some photos. They are in the us but i got them to make a microlight for me and the detail they put in was exceptional. If you have looked on ebay you may have already come across them. Anyway take it easy. Scoob

  21. Thanks Gibbo, to do a full flight test with a x country for a check flight is a bit over the top, but i hear alot do it. Talking about weight, i'm flying trikes at the moment and we have a MTOW of 445 kgs. Now i'm 102 kgs, (which is really pushin the limits ) front seat load is 55-100kgs. With the CFI in the back and 45 litres of juice were at MTOW. (CFI is about 70kgs). Anyway, Thanks for posting, Cheers, Scoob

  24. Hey there Lloydster, It's great to read about people like yourself just starting out. I'm fairly new to flying myself ( 9 hours to be exact ) and love every minute i'm in the aircraft. I also think i should have done it years ago, but better late than never hey? Good on you! Keep posting your progress and if any time you need an answer to a question you will find it here. There are always people here to help. Since i have been a member of this forum i have found great support from other pilots. Anyway congratulations on your first lesson and i wish you all the best.
