Be thorough with your pre-flights, don't extend the envelope or your capabilities, keep the family and loved ones in the back of your mind, and fly safe.
We want more posts from you.

Priceless!. Something to always rememberLast Sunday (Mothers Day) I was finally able to take my mum up flying. She has been waiting for this since she help me start flying 21 years ago....Although it was a cloudy day, so my planned flight to the Glasshouse and then over Bribie became just a 1100' flight to Bribie and then over water where I could get up to 3500' at least and back. She really loved it.-

I arrived in Majorca after a very turbulant flight in a Britannia with a case that was split open down one side. When unpacking at the hotel, I realized all my new underwear was missing. Had a good laugh about it at the time, as we were on our honeymoon.

Behave yourself, so you don't get unexpected surprises.
Have a great time.

That's a sad outcome.

My partner reckons there ought to be an antidote available for this site, it's infectious to many like me.
You get up in the middle of the night for a pee and you have to log on to see what's new.
I'm not complaining, I like it that way.
Thanks Ian:thumb up:

That's a light load Frank. You should take a look at their trains.
No goats, no chickens, no mother-in laws.
Should get off the deck in no time.

Certainly wasn't mine.
But I only fly responsibly, and have never flown near a nudie beach or near people who feel inadequate. (so far)

Impressive!
Innovation is what progress is all about.
Don't worry Frank, all good, otherwise it would be in another thread which we don't want to think about.

I'd love to give it a go!
You and me both. Looks a reeeeal buzz!
Need a soft landing though because of my crook back.
Noticed the jet-ski boys were never far away, which was good.

No good for RAAus registration as it has four enjines for a start, but is amazing to watch in flight if nothing else.
Maybe a future pro-jet (spelt incorrectly) for Mick.

It let the all older folks in the area know that their hearing was still working! It powered into an amazing climb at the end of the display and the sound was delicious ! )I always loved the earsplitting crackle sound when a VC10 was close to V2 with the engines developing twice the power of QE2 they say, but at somewhat different RPM's.
The BAC Lightning doing a vertical climb was another good one, if noise turns you on.

:welcome:Good to hear from you. So whst do you fly?Hello NeoThis is Bobfromreddeer. I am new to this site and I can't find where I post my own profile so I am replying to you. I'm from Canada and have built and now flying a 701, over 350 hrs on it so far. I am looking for a contact in New Zealand that is willing to correspond with as wife and I hope to be down there in Feb to March 2018. Would love to do some flying while there. Any assistance would be appreciated. ThanksBob

Email photo to yourself which normally makes it smaller, save attachment to your pics, then attach that smaller file to your post. Should work, hope this helps.

I remember looking over an HP42 at Croydon Airport as a little fellah, though I never flew in one.
From where I lived you could hear them warming up the engines for ages before they took off and climbed out, normally going over our house.
The majority of the flights were with DC2' & 3's and a few DH82 Dragon Rapides.
In those days they flew direct London to Paris etc: I'm told that when radar and flight corridors were introduced, if an aircraft went missing, it narrowed down the area where they had to look for the broken bits. Probably not true, but that was the story going around at the time.
I remember Croydon well, and as a kid when they had an open-day was talked into doing a simulated parachute jump off the top of a hangar where a tough-looking soldier controlled the brake of the fixed line after I jumped. When I got home my Dad asked me how my underpants were?
