  1. Jetstar pilot? who lets everyone at a party know what he does for a quid.
  2. We had a neighbors young chook in our garden a few weeks back. As I approched, it took flight following the path between the trees but wound up slamming into the fence at the end. I think it should have read Nevs post about gaining altitude by taking off into the wind.
  3. Every chance that the float was damged by striking floating debris, which i'm always wary of when in my small boat. Occasionally you see something in the water which is capable of damaging a hull.

  5. Pass me the situations vacant section someone.
  6. First flights could possibly go somthing like this. After initial take off and passengers settling in, an announcement over the PA system states "Ladies and Gentleman, welcome aboard the inaugural autonomous rocket assisted flight service betwen Heathrow and New York. Our flying time today is expected to be just over 1 1/2hrs duration. Such are the advancements in aviation, that everthing is fully automatc, therefore not necessitating the need of a pilot on this aircraft As you settle back and enjoy your flight, you can rest assured that all systems have been rigorously tested, retested and tested again to ensure that there's not the slightest chance that anything can Go Wrong! Go Wrong! Go Wrong!
  7. However, I bet they paid a lot more than a $99 fare to Melbourne.
  8. IF AWARE?, thats always helpfull. Sadly that seems to have been overlooked for whatever reason.
  9. Well, that's a blow for some!
  10. Much the same at Bankstown. Privatisation is only a wonderful thing for some.
  11. Take care spacey. Love reading you're posts. Wishing you good luck with all you'd like to still achieve. Rgds planey
  12. Amazing model and flying skills in such a confined flying area.
  13. Could it be classed as a power-assisted sail boat with a horizontal sail. Anything to keep the authorities happy.
  14. Thats not looking good judging by 2nd photo.
  15. Ouch! I guess someone is now looking for a new job. Can't imagine what the cost would be for repairs and it being out of service.
  16. Maybe this is the answer to some of your problems!
  17. Great progress! but I have to ask, Do you ever stop for sleep?
  18. A lady friend who was in the backseat of a Piper Warrier and got cut short, used a shopping bag and tried to push it out of the small vent hole while flying over the Blue Mountains. Thank god I wasn't in the back. It wasn't too successful and showers hadn't been forcast.
  19. Love it! but it's probably lacking a bit in the ground effect department.
  20. The mans a machine for sure.
  21. When I stated in earlier post that at Bankstown a warehouse was almost long enough for a new runway onits roof, I was not kidding. Just about every other space is filling fast with commercial buildings.
  22. Thank you for what you are doing to endevour to make others aware. If no one does anything, thats what we wind up with, nothing, other than financial gains for the corporate interests. It's certainly an uphill battle.
