I lost almost everything (except my aircraft) in a fire 8 years ago. (And DFES did nothing.) I watch the news and see emergency service boss's stand there wearing more bling than the top cop and tell me what I should be doing and how to do it.
Empire building at its best.
Fk off.
Many years ago when I first did my RPL at Cunderdin fuel was regularly drained by the students at Cunderdin Ag College which was located near by for their go-karts and motor bikes. From then on I learnt to never fly without dipping the tanks.
A few months back a family member of someone killed wrote on this forum about the effects that social media has on the surviving family members and friends. I reckon some on here should find it and have another read.
A fuel fire can be caused by an a engine failure, an electrical failure, a hose clamp failure, a fuel pump failure, a crash landing failure, a fuel hose failure. And?
Was going to go for a fly myself Robinsm but read this post and got scared because I ve got a jab motor. Decided to go fishing but changed my mind cause the boat could sink. Maybe go beach fishing but might have got washed in by a king wave.
So bugger it stayed at home and got pissed, Now the missus wants to kill me. Should have gone for a fly!
I'd be curious to know what Air/fuel mixture ratios people have been playing with. I know of people leaning mixture setting off for good economy, at what cost?
G'day RATT, my 2 cents worth.
Do plenty of research other than what's on this site cause if you believe half the crap on here you wouldn't get out of bed In the morning.
Have a great day.
