  1. My point is , most things are good about flying an RA aircraft except they are just shy on take off weight and it's not that they can't carry the extra, because if I fit pods I can get an extra 50 and that 50 would make my flying options better
  2. The planes are fast enough for sure but max weight for is too low for 2 passengers and full tanks . Americans and Australians are not all 60 kg. I guess not every one wants to fly a big fat 2 seater, but allowance should be made for the ones that do, I am not talking 800 or 900 kg just 650 to 700 kg to cater for the bigger people and more people could enjoy flying without the expense of GA. It's funny that they will give more weigh if you fit pods , go figure. Just think how many more could enjoy what we love to do .

  7. There's 2 140 pipers in bendigo Victoria , they are complete, phone the recreational flying club they may be able to help. The planes have been there for a couple of years, so they have been removed to the back blocks of field.

  12. I wonder if there's any recognition of courses such as SAAA maintenance course as that was a 2 day course and a exam
  13. I know this started as a difference between a c172 or c182 but there seems to be a greater model range with the piper aircraft. Has any one got anything to say about Piper arrows etc
  14. I just spent 3 hours in a 172 o dear are they slow or what, 90 kts av, they are certainly not a performer.

  20. I have a o233 as Brumby said the io233 is not certified and I wanted a certified plane. It's a tried and proven brand with low maintenance record, but it is slightly heavier on fuel than a rotax.

  24. Any new 610 on the register yet. I been waiting for some real reports on the delivery of planes that are on order. Is there 3 new ones coming , come on guys lets hear from you. How's the ETA going, they must be delivering some by now?
