    My 95-10 registration was on the raaus list of registered aircraft . As they tookover AUF . with my rego on their list . 18 in a builder's list . One is registered in the 19 category. Then removed for being out of " wing load factor" . spacesailor

    " no adjustments " . To ' adjust ' a wooden prop . You simply , remove a tiny piece of ' leading ' edge ' to increase pitch . Or remove a tiny piece of ' trailing edge to decrease pitch . try that on any composite prop that is fixed pitch . And there was/is " ground adjustable " wooden props ! . That are a fraction of the weight and cost of ' plastic fantastic props . spacesaiilor PS. : my aircraft was registered as ' fitted with a home-made wooden prop ' . So any wooden prop could be fitted . but a composite prop couldn't. Without a " maruup " as stated previously. The weight difference would is huge .

    You can't ' buy ' cheaper , or made with dedication. Than your own work . Expensive glue , & 3 very cheap ( by comparison ) planks of wood . Glued together. Then your hard work to make a $ 50 , wonder propeller. Even the " lofting " is simple . spacesailor

    When ! . Your ' home chopped prop ' is as good as you can make it , cover it in lightweight glass and epoxy to get a super prop Finnish. spacesailor

    There you go !. HUMMEL ULTRACRUISER IS 103 LEGAL . The bird need only a few kilos removed to be there too . But loses a lot of it's 6g'6g strength, no canopy & tail-wheel only . spacesailor

    The ' original ' Delica scat holds a lot of turbo oil . When it has it's annual clean-cut . I have to stand it on end .to drain the oil out , as it just pools when horizontal. spacesailor

    Thanks. . I didn't know that nice smooth inside was even available. My turbo Delica has " scat ' . But , would have thought " sceet " would be better for the ' turbo/ inter-cooler/ induction ' tube . spacesailor

    I was thinking about the " Cri Cri " . With it's two motors & props , it doesn't comform to Raa rules. spacesailor

    No . I can do legal flying ! . As a trainee pilot . 30 something hours in my Logbook. ( foxbat-24-5356 ) But my Hummel-Bird is a different kettle of fish ! . Short coupled ( 14 ' ( 4.26 mtrs) ) . And untested . I should have bought a crashed bird from WA. OR . the one from South Grafton. Both " grandfathered " . Or as I was told , LIE . to get that grandfather clause . spacesailor

    My registration is , 95-10-1103 Under the AUF . But denied under Raa . So no flying for me !. Untill part 103 . spacesailor
