Well for me I ve been doing al though little jobs service in frame checks bungie retention general eye over every thing I run my plane every week for a half hour getting the coolant up to temp and causing all those little bugs and spider to have to move house as the place gets too hot & windy every week to settle in ..
Bloody mud builders are a petty mush homeless as they don't seem too enjoy my routine spray of inox around all the engine parts and a wash & tub most every 2-3 weeks Over the airframe,
Then for me a bit of a refresher over flight controls and a good walk round And most times when I run her up I go through the take off roll and I talk myself through the chance of a engine failure on take off , and what if that may try to catch me out
So when and if she dose play games I am a couple of step a head of her .... So far she has been good to me and loves me as mush as I love her ....
."...Guess I need to get out more ."...

I have use a mix of avgas and bp 98 for years with out any problem in both my ligthwings with a 582 when I can get avgas I try and use it because my engines run a lot cooler egt and much more response from the throttle better starting and a much cleaner engine inside .
They say that the plugs may fowl but I have never had a problem ,
As for premix 25-0229 my first Ligthwing was a premix engine and I had her running a on a mix avgas & 98 for the 11 years with no problem ,
A bit of history I found on 25-0032 history. A video of her flight across Australia with two flight star aircraft

Yes mate she is a very stable and strong , I fine she is very predictable and can safely handle most weather conditions she will keep u more than interested when doing cross wind landing and she is more than capable of throwing u a curve ball every now and then .
As for strength I have seen a Ligthwing do barrel rolls loops and even a spin yes it is Not allowed but this was way back when I first stated to fly Almost 20 years ago .
I have flown my lightwing with 2 others up to weipa and around the cape We have flown the little two stroke down to nsw
lismore and back pretty much up and down the east coast with no problems .

It was not intimidating or scary going up but going down was a wake up call had full power and dropping like a stone an nothing I could do but ride it out , if I been low I think I may have been a pot hole on the side of the hill ....
