Hi Xavier, Being a pilot and of Kooorie descent it might be an good idea to contact the NT Government Transport Department or CASA. I have never flown in NT, however, communities there are given LL Avgas and cars are converted to this. The reason is the huge problem with adults and kids petrol snifffing, and they cannot get "high" with the LL product. Maybe RA-Aus can expand on this and help you out as well. Otherwise you might have to upgrade to a 914.... Cheers brother... Halden

New I agree with ayavner. Safety is paramount. Do they have an alternative aircraft for you to fly until this is sorted as there is obviously an engine issue which needs to be seriously looked at? If you have only .5 t go before solo I would be looking elsewhere until they get it sorted. Aslo a new school and CFI might pick up on a few new skills you might need to look at and hone in on. Hi Everyone.......Glad to be a new contributor to The Forum. My son Tyler and myself have been involved in a tussle with RA-Aus which on the eve of Xmas revoked all student pilot licences to "our young eagles" under the age of 14 years and 6months old. The bombshell could not have happened at a worse time, and it a[ppears it was made without consulktation of the full Board, let alone giving RAA members the opportunity to have input into this sudden decision which had ramifications for the entire Australian aviation community. The good news is this decision has been suddenly revoked after some pretty fierce lobbying. However we are not our guard down, because the battle is far from over.
