I have had a plane cut across , i was at 1500ft on path to archerfield he was on a very steep climb out, did not see him , he came from under me very close , Rv plane and going very quickly did not answer me on radio ( maybe not on frequency?) that is a scary thing ,i now closely look for planes around me cheers gareth

I have 20 panels and the biggest inverter , i installed it myself (with the help of sparky) in 2 years it has paid for itself and i have $1100 in credit , solar works well for me ,we are on the top tariff of 52 cents , we also have a air-con integrated system so it is a definite winner for me cheers Gareth

Hi Sloper Craig and I installed a Ray allen servo with trim indicator and dual control switches , the servo is very light and has a lot of pull and is very finite in controlling the trim flaps ( we install 100mmx600mm trim flaps into our elavator) it is easily controlled and the total cost about $400 and a loom of 5 wires to the rear ,just my solution cheeers Gareth
  15. low wing good cruise(120 to 130 knots) speed, roomy, good vision really good engine type up front, oh hang on we have just built 1 LOL cheers gareth

Hi Mags thanks for that , we have run the UL a no of times it seems that there is plenty of power to spare , but time will tell , we have confidence in the engine , all temps and pressure are in tolerences and the prop looks to be a winner , we are still waiting for paperwork to come back then we set a date for our test pilot to fly , we will be doing a few h/speed taxis ourselves to make sure the tracking and rudder imput is all good , we have just made a new bonnet for the engine , we were not happy with first one should be soon for that day , getting exited for that day , will take onboard video and outside video for posting cheers Craig & Gareth

Hi Mark still waiting for paperwork to come back from Raa, at present am putting poh and start procedures together also a dash layout with all items marked up to send to Trevor its a waiting game at the moment ,i am back at work and away for three weeks from the 6th , Craig is also very busy with work and it is to BLXXDY hot to do anything LOL will send info to Trevor and hopefully rego come s back soon cheers Gareth

Jeffd the instructor in question after the 2nd lesson in an unfamiliar plane did not make allowances for that , i had previously flown only Cessna,s totally different and heavier ,after complaints to the CFI was told this had happened before i would not fly with him again to my detriment this cost me more money and the end was not in sight (money hungary) told me that it would take 40 more lessons , I left in disgust and did it all in 10 at a much more professional run school now i am free to fly anytime , and our plane is at the final stage for testing ,lots more flying cheers Gareth

D class air space is not that hard to master give it a go , archer tower are very helpful to students( it is a training area) i have made a few mistakes ,but they are there to help , and it is a great runway(28r/l) to land on , as you say where you live will be the decider, travelling to far makes the day long cheers gareth
