  1. When I go to the website, up pops a google translate bar at the top. Hit English and presto... All English Looks like a nice plane.
  2. 60 liters per hour! That's me out... Still half as much as a helicopter
  3. Girls always make you think it's their first time.... They only tell you later - much later....
  4. Very funny... Come to think of it my wife has a pair RM Williams boots I bought her 3-4 years ago (never worn), a couple of watches, a couple of handbags, a bottle of perfume, some earrings, a boat, a motorbike, a trailer and a 4wd...( she actually uses that)...

  6. That ain't gonna be easy to fix... Bummer
  7. Yey, a new point of view ... (female). Welcome!
  8. Wow, that would be a fantastic trip!!! No way I can get 7 weeks leave... Maybe next time you go for two! Mark
  9. Not sure I even fly that high (most of the time)
  10. I guess they would be bored flying any other way... Clearly, whilst be expert pilots, this type of flying is dangerous. Just like the Ghost Rider (motorcyclist who popped wheelies at 300km per hr through street traffic.... On a turbo charged hyabusa) It ain't for me... I hate spinning even in a chair!!
  11. For some reason the social groups are not working... As a newbie to flying, there is much information to be learnt. Reading the reems of threads on various topics is fun & interesting, but sometime the serious answers get lost... There is no conclusion... I guess because there might not be a right answer? But otherwise, there is more than enough on this forum to keep anyone content.... It's also logical and easy to use... Regards Mark
  12. Love the bi-plane... Pity he isnt coming to Oz
  13. Ian, I know, I'm reading some of the past material.... Price is still half of what I paid! Also posts on video / photography are now probably resolved by GoPro... Regards Mark
  14. Man, I wish I'd seen this before I bought mine... Mine is from BlueSkyBlue and is excellent, but cost double!!
  15. http://avstop.com/ac/weight_shift_control/ Thought I'd add this link, especially if you are weight shift pilot Regards Mark
  16. Hi Scott, I hadn't plan to, but it looks like fun, so I might as well! I would be driving up as I ain't got a cross country yet I'll need to check with the missus, tell the cricket team I'm sick... And head to Narromine.. Regards Mark
  17. I got the same deal as Rob, I think.... When completing the transaction, the description says 12 months rather than 6 months, but doesn't mention the tips book... Oh well, I'm sure it will be good either way Regards Mark
  18. Wow, sounds like a great trip... Lucky you... And in your own plane!
  19. Fantastic link ... Just what i need!! Mark
  20. Thanks very much for this advice - much appreciated! I've got to say that the previous owner of my trike did a fantastic job of looking after it (still looks new in every way) and I want to do the best I can to maintain it properly Mark
  21. Thanks Mardy. Ill do exactly that this weekend. Cheers
  22. Hi all, My trike has been idle in the shed since 11 may... It's wrapped up like a new born baby in a dry clean basement shed.. But I haven't started it because it is a bit risky to do so in the shed... Just wondering how often others leave their trikes between starts? I rotax has recommendations... I aim to get it going this weekend.. Regards Mark
  23. Actually it says it's not a certified aircraft engine - section 4.2 of the operators manual
  24. Reading rotax engine brochure for my 582, it says the engines are not aviation engines and are prone to stopping!
