    hahah well the last one went unreplied for 7 months i think, so you'd think you'd have time for a coffee!! yeah stopped over there last weekend, it was beautiful, wind blowing perfectly down 04 and no one there but us!

    early tests are positive, but only small snag at the moment is I haven't found anywhere i can mount it on the 152 - the cowling is a thick soft rubbery slab so nothing to really clamp onto. Thinking I'll pick up a suction cup mount for it so i can pop it on the window.

    oh. wasn't really that obvious, the auctions but i see them now. I actually had loaded some stuff in my cart in the old shop a couple days ago, then yesterday I refreshed and it took me to the new shop and dumped all my cart contents, so I just went straight to the Pilot category and started fishing around for the items to re-add, so probably wasn't noticing anything else. I'll have to have a browse around, looks like some great stuff here!

    I insisted on doing my PFLs at an ALA so that I could get down to flare height over the grass... i did a few in earlier days where we'd get down to 500' AGL then go around, but I wanted to make sure i had the sight picture down.

    In the US, the largest city in Texas is Houston - pronounced "Hew-stun". Over east in Georgia, there is a town called Houston - pronounced "House-ton". go figure!! one thing is for sure, i'll never forget chew-mutt after this thread!!
