Hey, we sang that song at primary school singing sessions <sings> while riding in my commodore, much to my surprise, a little volkswagon was following me, about one third my size. The guy must have wanted to pass me, because he kept on tooting his horn, I'll show him that a Commodore is not a car to scorn...... Fresh, I'm always original. And I like my number...... Reckon we could get a trading system? like vanity plates.... I could make a bit of money with mine, but it wouldn't be worth it: nothing can make up for the loss of a good number.... -

Lucky B:censored:tds, Here I was thinking that just because I could find the time to build a plane, I would also have the time to fly it........ No such luck... She'll be hangared for a while yet, I haven't been able to spare half a day for ages. And if I did, I'd feel guilty, Enjoy your flying while I am stuck at home cutting firewood/fixing fences, etc on weekends. -

I was under the impression that a vertical card compass works in both hemispheres. Something to do with it not needing to be balanced horizontally. But I may be up the pole here.

It was my 21st the other day, and amongst gifts of things as useful as more clothes, there was a rare gem from someone who really cares. [ATTACH]5588.vB[/ATTACH] I love it to pieces. It hangs on the kitchen window so I can thing of lots nicer things than doing the dishes.

You do the Cheetah a diservice; Yes it has a roll bar (very strong one) but the polycarb canopy is tough as all hell it takes a lot to remove that. It is a problem. I always wonder about a swamp landing which would flip the plane, then sink it. I think you could remove the seat and rip the fabric and get out through the bottom; if you are as thin as me. Something to plan for I think.

Nice, but yeah, imagine it with a tripod and very long exposure time. I don't know if digitals do it as well as film, but you get really pronounced stars from all lights.

He is busy speading the news that the latest thing stolen from the OzStork files in the top of the WaterTank Hotel is that their latest invention has everything from blow-up hostesses and automatic bundy dispensers to foxtails in mink (to stop greenies complaining about fox cruelty), but no wings. They got left out by clerical error. Totally unlike AACME's latest pony....................

Anyone get the idea that we all seem to have no idea anymore? What happened to the clear cut solutions we had earlier? But with a question like that, who needs ideas to answer? I propose a solution method. We ask a million monkeys and give them all typewriters, one of them will find the answer. And we will have a spare copy of Macbeth to show that flying is for the elite. But we still have to take off on the grass beside the runway.

The new invention from OzStork seems to be not forthcoming, so Bigglesworth switched allegiance to AACME (Australian ACME) Ultra Aircraft (sic). Their new design involved an automatic restarter which works on forum threads about never ending stories with sad endings. Obviously AACME was no better than the rest, therefore............

Anyone know anything about this http://www.chris-sloan.com/the-human-jet-pack/ ? Because I want one for Christmas. Looks verrrrrrrry expensive, but a homebuilt one might work:confused: I can't find any more on it through, just this article.

Is that a sealed battery? And a failed battery shouldn't cause an engine failure. I can't picture that as the reason. Would it be possible it was a short through the kill switch wires which caused elec failure, and engine failure, then overloaded the battery, made that fail, which spilled onto the controls, causing delayed seizure. Just an idea.

decided it is time for some fresh authors. Bigglesworth took on the task in an effort to stop getting called too risky but ended up being called too risque'. This was due to the inclusion on the thought experiment involving an infinite improbability drive, and bunch of cheerleaders who work for OzStork. However, before anything could happen.........

You are either very unlucky, or lucky depending on which way you look at it. It is a very sad thing, to happen, but at least you are still alive to tell then tale. So you had a simultaneous engine failure, electrical failure, then seized controls? Sounds weird, any explainations yet? My deepest sympathy.

Av headsets have 2 mics for noise cancelling ( the 3 way plug), which one would you use? Listening should be fine, as far as I can see. But the longing for the wings that normally accompany the headsets may be overpowering.
