    Avex pop rivets

    >>>>countersunk-head rivets are used with modified nose piece in the puller to form a low profile domed head....not sure if stocks are in Oz...maybe Sport Air (former Zenith agents in QLD)..or Outback Aircraft.....how many are you in need of,Robert? ..A3 or A4's?
  4. Remove both "o" rings from the starter motor....(steel thru-bolts are too resistive !) and add earth lead to the rear (brush end) of the starter.........been there etc. etc.
  5. Or, roll-over , and over and.....
  6. G'day Robert, you could upgrade the leading edge to the full aerofoil .....requires new nose-ribs & leading edge skin....while yer at it! just a thought!
  7. Airport Metals ,I think at Essendon, Good dealers from my experience , hope that helps
  8. G'day FERRIS, sounds like you have "search for more detailed maps" check box ticked active ! In the configuration system page there is a tabbed page which has the box...IIRC..on the RHS of the page.......UNcheck it or change to a longer time to search...I think default is 120 seconds. ...........hope thats wot yer afta!

  10. have a squiz at the Thatcher CX-4
  11. The Savannah ( and its design origin ,the CH701 ) are draggy, slo n' lo machines and the reliablity of 80 horses in the 912 is more than enough to provide the performance of the design........they both have other drag issues that could be addressed rather than add more pony power . A VG wing and 80horses..........sweeet Just my view of course.......might be worth what you pay for! ^
  12. http://stolspeed.com check out John Gilpins work on VG's . The Savannah VG wing has a more conventianal extended leading edge, retaining MAC ...............reduced drag and fuel effiency being big positives ......... Just my view.......may be worth what you pay for!
  13. G'day , J160 MTOW 540Kg.......on your numbers of 497Kg gives you 43Kg Flight Manual says 18Kg allowable behind EACH seat to retain CofG specs, with 2x18 =36 and 43-36 =7Kg below MTOW = lunch on the laps! Have a great trip.
  14. C'mon guys.....this No "Laughter is the best medicine"....and shouldn't be on this forum or we end up with raising our individual necks red! "The meek will inherit the earth.......If that's OK with you!"
