  5. Exactly! ........I have one of the Austflight Aviation`s, 95-25, WB Drifters`, responsible for creating legal twin seat instruction, way back in the early days of the the AUF....I realise it`s not all about me but all I get is increasing fees......... Unless I`ve missed something, the higher Rego fee, for two seats, is just a money grab!!!!!!!! Frank.

  11. I`ve copied and pasted from, Magnificent Men & Their Flying Machines, facebook page...It may save someone. "This was my new trike - I was experiencing electrical issues - I had it repaired, the regulator was replaced - I was an hour into the flight back to home base when I lost the engine - the new regulator failed - I had my emergency landing area picked out, but the winds had changed and picked up - I knew instantly that I was not going to make it...........I now carry twice as much altitude as I think I need........Minimize risk and be prepared anyway.......Complacency is not your friend." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=videoseries

  17. What`s Happening??? Well this is what happened at Deeral this morning! I took Marja, for her first flight in an Ultralight... Frances and I have known Marja, for many years but we lost contact with her for about twenty of those years...I have a facebook account where I post the photos of those I take flying, Marja saw some of the photos, made contact with me and decided she wanted to fly with me... Today we made it happen. Frank. Ps, Find me as, Franco Arri, on facebook.
  18. This afternoon I had a great bit of flying with my Grandsons` Matthew and Kieren, then Jay, a friend of theirs, over here from Birmingham, England...First Ultralight flight, for Jay...Photo says it all. Over High Island. Heading Home! Frank.
  19. Absolutely! I started flying Ultralights in the mid, late eighties, by scratch building my rag and tube and learning to fly it...For me, flying is not about going from point A to B, as fast as possible, nor is it about having the latest L.S.A., with all that goes with it, it`s about being able to go flying as I wish, with an AC that will do what I want it to do and at a cost that I can afford to do it with. I`ve flown numerous Ultralights, over the years, some faster and fancier, than others! I Instructed with my current Austflight W.B. Drifter, for 12 years! It has served me and many others, extremely well and I will keep it going and flying it for as long as I can. Frank.
