G,day, Have just bought a MRX PCAS. Ian told me that you have one. I went flying today and unfortunatly no aircraft around to test. I did find that on the ground in flight mode it showed an aircraft 1.5 miles away at 00 feet. This aircraft was only 50 feet away, would that be normal given that it was so close? The other issue it turned itself off after about 1 minute on at least 3 occasions???? I was squarking 1200 but it showed me everything but. I will give the transponder aerial a good clean before I fly again. I have heard of a few issues in the past, I am just hoping that these have all been rectified. Appreciate any advice or info that you can give.
