well im just online checking the weather about to head to the hangar and pull the drifter out now! will see you there soon, should have wheels down about 0730 - 0800

yeah that is Emmdale road house, tex and Vivians place, and the station around it (including the strip) is liveldale station. however the strip is better known as the Emmdale strip. Andrew the station owner and skip the manager and always more than happy for people to use it if your are wanting to pop into the road house. camping and shower facilitys there to. its exactly 100ks from wilcannia and 164 k;s from cobar so a great little stop off for anyone heading through to get a feed etc. plus anyone who does ever want to fly though there, viv is really picy about her fuel quality, far more so than in wilcannia, so its a good place to stop if you need fuel, im pretty sure she has 98. if you do however stop in Wilcannia and you plan on running unleaded not avgas, make sure you get it from BP not liberty, fuel is always exactly 12c a litre cheaper, and far better quality. plus he has the airfield supply contract so hes far more helpful.

I know there are multiple places on this site to put up photos of our aircraft. Though I know many of us take alot photos of other aircraft and amazing things we come across as we burn holes through the sky. well bacon its good to see you got home over the range ok, wayne and I where wondering how you where going. plane looks great but your right that seat is huge! (looked comfy though) your probably right a lower seat might be in order

I will be there with bells on, and with my plane to, that said Its a 15 min flight for me so I have no excuse. The line up thins year is looking fantastic, matt hall will be back, his part of the Evans head air park team so I would be amazed if he were to miss it. I'll be with Wayne Fischer helping him out for the day if anyone wants to come say g'day

Hey guys, I'm wanting to put larger tyres on my drifter, currently running a 600x6 set. But wanting to go something substantially larger (before people comment, I know it's going a bit over the top, or even way over the top, but they do have there advantages and most importantly, I like them!) I'm wanting to go something more of the18 to 20 inch size. , mainly for operations on properties and also to increase my angle of attack though I don't want to go up as far as 26 inch tundras as I feel it will put to much strain on the under carriage. I know there out there as I have seem them on drifters before, only I haven't seen the pilots to find out we're they got them. Can anyone give me advice as to what sizes will fit on a standard drifter rim ( tyre sizes I don't really understand to we'll) and what might be out there and we're to find it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Tim
