  1. I 'wood'n't know.
  2. "when the $50,000 twin-seater aircraft" ... Well there's more people lost to flying. Good result otherwise.
  3. Have you ever read Mark Langford's extensive web pages? Links to other builds as well. Mark Langford's KR2S
  4. I'm building aircraft stuff, not horse wagons.
  5. Thanks Keith. Merry Xmas to your lot as well.
  6. I have all the f'glass molds in the first post with me except for the wing molds that were left at Taree as I didn't want them.
  7. I get the gist, and had a laugh, but the pictures aren't showing.
  8. Thanks Ian. I might have a frustrating 'China day' and it's great to get on here and have a bit of fun or a jibe in a most Australian way. Where other forums and mediums are being eroded away with current social politically correct issue'ism, it's great that often you mostly trust us to set our own standards, thank you for that and Merry Xmas.
  9. I'll take a front row ticket thanks.
  10. Owning an Alfa for many years while having a mechanical workshop, I worked on a few Euros for people, word gets around. I have joyfully refused to not only work on a few CXs, but I even declined to work on an SM, as stunningly beautiful as it was. I did not get as much joy though as saying no to V12 Jag owners
  11. Personally I avoid taildraggers.
  12. Rotax618, that is an absolute credit to you, a quiet achiever!
  13. I'll take the points and that quid. Pre-war Renaults mostly had that unique double sloper enclosed grille. It's a 5CV Citroen boat tail. It however has an extended front valance panel obviously to mount that front bumber bar that the originals never had, and I have never seen those wheels from a Citroen before. To my knowledge all pre-War Citroens had solid disc wheels. I'm a member of AussieFrogs car forum for French car enthusiasts by the way. Yep, sad life.
  14. Boorabee article here .. http://dargavilleac.weebly.com/uploads/3/2/2/3/32238283/winter_2015_screen.pdf
  15. Yeah, well the damage is yet to be seen, they won't be in the driving seats for a few more years yet. Similar examples have been seen in the past though, cases of hopeless rich kids taking over from the parents who worked night and day to build the successful business.
  16. Can't help myself ...
  17. That's cutting edge....
  18. ... until the next day.
  19. God's own plane, an Angel 44, designed and built by prayer and donations by a bunch of Missionaries specifically for Mission work. Wonder how it will go now being owned and built by Athiest Chinese ...
  20. Sounds like he's drunk too much of it already.
  21. Would love to, got to get these first 2 out of the way first. Self control is a difficult thing, but lots of fun to get excited about possibilities, never stop dreaming!
  22. We are talking about the Frenchman Henri Mignet's "Pou du ciel", meaning louse of the sky, known commonly in English as the "Flying Flea". The pronunciation for "Pou" is poo. Not off topic because I mentioned previously that I want to do a Pou, it's been building up for a while now. I'd better grab some paper and a pencil to work it out.
  23. You don't know just how true that is until you have lived somewhere where they won't help.
  24. Well if it was me I would look at the cheaper but stunning Flying Legend Tucano, bought to you by an active member of the forum as well, and possibly by 2 active members if Dave's Australian turbine eventuates in it ... The Flying Legend | Your new aircraft
  25. I've noticed a recent trend, thankfully, on social media to sound out people for filming and not helping.
