  1. No........
  2. It's done, I'm using a capstan solution.
  3. It's alive, now to configure it.
  4. in his pace even i might get to store mine in there before him ;)
  5. Alain to the rescue,, hes really quick. Hi, Max RPM 3000 max 5 minutes. Max continuous RPM 2800. Of course within temperature limits. Kind regards Alain Dejager
  6. I've been bombarding D-motor with questions and Alain keeps answering them instantly, compared Icp that take 3 days to several weeks. D-motor has about 50 flying samples while Icp engine isn't flying yet and keep pushing it, maybe flying in September. D motor used jabiru engine mount witch Icp have. The engine is simple (uses some readily av, auto parts), small/tiny, light 59 kg with fluids (10kg less than rotax) I need low weight cause of the strict weight regulations to keep it a microlight, don't want to redo my license from scratch for a heavier class. I want a Fuel efficient engine, injection really does it, so with about 12L/H@75% and 150L fuel i really can go distances. only 7 HP less than Rotax i dont think i will notice any diff. I get a good discount. They plan on turbo further on to keep performance at higher altitude. Earlier issues they have had they fixed immediately by driving to customer and examining it, so they have a good reputation.
  7. LoL,, a few 757,, then you can practise some before your Savannah,, still it was cheap =) God created earth but rest is Made in China!....
  8. So the flap sensor got several versions, but i ended up with the later one, first one was ugly.
  9. I actually know "Hasse" ive been to his place a few times and we have been talking allot. Startade du motorn utan mig! (Did you start the engine without me!) Congratulations, myself ive decided on the D-Motor and is pulling the wires for it now.
  10. Its just allot of wiring, allot of redos to make it look good though, the VP-X makes it allot easier. The MGL iBOX system is genius. I think ive used about 10meter of DYMO marking to =) Adhars got its position, was best i could do away from other electronics. Cant wait to power up the system in the comming, days, still need to tidy up the wires first.
  11. ill come land in that one any time
  12. One is metal touch and other one is a plastic roller, just take some tejp?
  13. Look at my little solution for flapsensor =) when i connect these to my efis i will be able to get a warning if im using them when going to fast. Oh and btw i spent 15 hours x 4 this weekend pulling wires, its kinda allot of work.... ill post some photos later on.
  14. Im connecting it to my EFIS, a popup will appear on the screen.
  15. Radio is now installed with wiring, allot of wiring on it hopefully it will look allot better later when wires are more tidy. All cables are neatly marked with Dymo and panel has gotten all its switches thee, just so i can see what i need. also installed transponder antenna underneath the passenger seat and fixed rear strobe wiring. Fusing for backup power to efis, ground block in the middle. Off to sleep.
  16. Finaly starting to get some work done, electrics start getting installed. the mgl ibox is in. The Vpx is also in, i decided to keep data stuff on one side and power on the other. Made some wiring for the radio,, gosh it was allot, even got a 10 000uf cap to minimise dist. used a 25 pin screw connector to make it easier to get all cables in. Now off to buy some 18awg wire, lets see what 4 days of loneliness can do to my aircraft.
  17. Installed some rivnuts, now i can access the sitwell whenever i want. i need some vacation, i got parts but no time, just work and girlfriend, puuh.
  18. Yup,, just dont want to loose them yet. Im off to buy almost 210meter of wire 2morrow, hows your build going?
  19. Inspiration from Kyle, but im using a "Proper" key. And so far this is revision "78" i think of my electrical system.
  20. Is the Sav fuel reservoir fuel meter a Contact/no contact meter? say when i measure now without fuel it has a circuit, so when i will will it cut it?
  21. SO i got the Bank autopilot servo installed, took some time to find how to fasten it, but finaly got in. Also got my Panel done =) Now im waiting for the carbonfiber vinyl to come =)
  22. So my friend is trying to calculate where i can put the autopilot =)
  23. Hehe,, "E R E C T I O N"
  24. The Vertical-Power X isnt just a remote circuit breaker/relay system its also connects into my efis where i can see allot of data,, power usage, auto-trim, with more fun stuff, http://verticalpower.com/vp-x/ Only breaker i will have in front is for backup fuelpump/ecu rest will come from rear. switches just need grounding to activate so 10x smal awg24 wires till be pulled from rear to forward,, well im at the start och using a PCB software to do a mashup of all my electronics.
  25. So i will put the remote controlled circuit breaker Vertical power X in the back as most units needing power will also be in the back, only power needed to go forward is for 2x Efis, engine monitor Rdac, ECU(will have backup), fuel pump(will have backup), and the ordinary powerline backwards. Does it make any sense?
