    Maybe I'm old fashioned but I will subscribe and get the magazine delivered, it's just not the same reading of the screen, like reading a book on a kindle thing plus we can't get adsl broadband only mobile not many down loads for a lot of money, nothing beats paper.

    Surely somebody else has had trouble somewhere trying to put fuel in their plane and the card swipe machine hasn't worked

    Thought I would have a go at the l1 exam,then thought lets do it with out studying to see how much I know, ended up with 37 percent, which proves the point you think you might know enough but there is always more to learn,people should think instead of an exam it's a way to learn more about aviation and your aircraft never stop learning , a little knowledge never hurt anyone, enjoy Keith.

    Went to Lethbridge for the toy run today, looked at 5 Gazelles and they all had a bigger radiator shroud than mine, they were the same as the one on the white gazelle for sale on the raa members market, mine doesn't come out as wide and has gaps underneath, has anybody have one I can buy or copy or can anybody post some pictures of there shrouds to help me fabricate a new one thanks Keith.

    Thanks Neil have ordered a new radiator cap and modified the cap on the overflow bottle, will change the coolant to castrol radicool and see how we go from there, keeping my fingers crossed thanks Keith.

    Thanks Richard my gazelle has a shroud on the radiator that I have widened one side, no shrouds on the oil cooler, with the evans coolant in it if the air temperature was above 30 it would run cht temps above 125 whi ch is fine for the evans but I was worried about the rest of the engine with so high temps

    Hi Neil was worried about that what do you run in your Gazelle and what sort of temps do you get , was going to fly to Penfield a couple of weeks ago but the weather was against me Keith.

    Drained the Evans coolant and replaced it with Nulon llr, with the air temperature about 32 the cylinder head temp was 110 at cruise but got to 125 on climb outand spat a lot out of the plastic bottle, oil temp was 100, think I will have to run the evans, has any one made any baffles for a gazelle to try and force more air through the radiator, or fitted another radiator or moved it to a position where it can get more air flow rather than at the back of the motor where it hardly gets any air, I don't know what skyfox was thinking mounting where they did, open to suggestions cheers Keith.

    Can any body tell me are the radiators in the gazelles made from aluminium or copper or brass, also what coolant other than Evans does anybody run, thanks Keith.

    After flying my gazelle for awhile took the club 160 jabi up for a few circuits on the weekend, well feel like I should give my pilots certificate back after the bouncy landings, don't realise how quick you lose touch with one type of plane after not having flown it for a while, need more practice, cheers Keith.

    Hi everybody, need to replace the air intake hoses that run from the filter up to the carbies,what should I use and what shouldn't i use and where can I buy it thanks Keith.
