Yeah was not allowed, even though they asked. They could not hold any departing aircraft for two seconds to allow the A380 to go lower (I don't even think there was any traffic, if so it wasn't anything big, probs a cessna or a metro).

I swear I saw a Hurc leave here around 3pm, I saw it ascending into the clouds and by the time it got to my house (not far away) it was far in the clouds.

Flown JetStar a few times, never had a problem. Friendly staff, easy check in, easy to use website. TT is just trash TV, everything is 'the worst' to them. If you ever watched chaser they had a segment on there which featured the Worst Street, The Worst House I believe etc etc.

I have noticed it often coming up on the FlightLevel350.com random vids in the corner. I watched it at school (As they have broadband) and it is a good clip.

A380-800 corporate style with bars, pools, and all that shite in it. Like one guy from the Middle east is doing with his, only has like 50seats.

Just to answer that last Question there CL, Oh yes indeed, the caroline calls are still around. When I first stated I wondered who the hell Caroline was, then I realised it was part of the 'emergency call list' as we have a list of all the caroline points in out store up in the tea room. The most popular is 'Caroline Section 10, PLant Room' and 'Caroline Section 15, Refridgeration'.

You can all guess where my vote went, well those who know me do! Its not that I don't like the sound of round, I just prefer the Jet Engine! I Have chainys canal in sight, but I am sure I can keep out of it long enough :P

If you don't have a computer with a good processor, graphics card and all that modern junk then don't go for Flight Simulator X. As it is made for more modern day, higher class Windows Vista Capable and Above computers. I have FS 9 (2004) at home and it is great, and runs well on my computer my folks bought 2 years or so ago. I would suggest sourcing a copy of FS 2000 as it would probs run best on your computer, aslong as FS is capable with MAC PC's. That I don't know as I am not a Mac user, and never will be. ;)

Welcome to the boards. Of course we have alot of fun an we are growing to provide more information to all out their in Australian Aviation scene. When you get up to (100 posts I believe) feel free to sign up to our Golden Wing Club, although seems rarely used, is more a free for all forum then the main boards.

Yep, the Pizza one was also Lynx Jet and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year jet. I am not sure if they are painted, or done by stickers. As Buspak or JCDeaux (Damn European name, cannot remember the spelling) use Stickers instead of painting their All Over Adverts for buses, trams and trains. I am not sure if it is as they do it in other industries now (Stickers) or if it was actually painted that way. If it is stickers, it could be there for removal.

If the tail singage is incomplete they may be stripping it of its signage, I am 99.99% sure it will not reappear for JetStar.

Is probably there for a repaint, or engine upgrades. Or even on its way to Adelaide for either of those two, as these aircarft are all going back to Qantas Link

Well the types have been successful with so many other airlines I am suprised they only extended the order by so few. Cannot wait to see them plowing the Sydney to Canberra route, will gimmie something new to fly on!

lol, my god, someone decided to unload/load the aircraft wrong. I remember this happening to a Korean Air Cargo, it was blue :P, once before in Sydney I think.

I am never gonna let this one down ay? :P ehhhh Alright, story time kiddies. Uncle Toddles while out spotting the big big airplanes had a battery failure from using a different setting on his big big camera. So by the end of the day, I found that my battery had practically died (I got in the Etihad and UPS just) which made me miss out on DHL and Norfolk Air up close. 8)
