let me guess DI...u were 'banned' for 'x' days...? So was I...all my contributions ..deleted...as if i do not exist... i will be actively promoting this site compared to the 'other sight' to the people i fly with...

it's good to be a 'member' dazza....i will never be a 'follower'.... i reckon i have a contribution to make...i do not expect to be thrown out for disagreeing with the sites supreme controller..do not know what there 'mods' are excpected to do....

7 October 2011:Technical Manager's comment on 'Dipstick' article in October, 2011 Sport Pilot I didn't see this article before it was printed. The article has some errors. Checking the oil in an engine must be performed strictly to the engine manufacturer's instructions: For Jabiru engines, the dipstick must be pushed right down into the LOCK position to determine the oil level, and other engines are similar. Always use the manufacturer's instructions. Having too much oil in an engine can cause real problems, and can cause seal failure and major leaks. Some engines use the method outlined in the article, but in my experience this is rare. [*]Please disregard Mr Johnson's comments and use the manufacturer's instructions. The ‘mods’ have been told that for the last 2 years ...they haven’t done their job. The members have been ‘drawn and quartered’ by the site owner...who took on the task of throwing out members that had made many valuable contributions over the years... It’s a bit like being on a ‘religious’ praise site....”.if u aren’t ageeing...u aint participating... Only ‘positive’ input is welcome” ....the ‘mods’ will hammer anyone that strays from the ‘happy’ path.. You have got to be kidding! To the ‘mods’ i would say u are being conned... To the (remaining) members...only rats die with the ship. I now fly on the TAA website... For those that remain here ...i wish u well and hope u don’t choke on your bibles. If u want to know what s happening outside the ‘bible group’ in RAA...no point looking here...
