  1. Just FYI some recent research I did came up that Pro-seal was once no good with Ethanol. Probably not an issue now. If you are just after an epoxy then Vinyl Ester is the go.
  2. Stag joining paste or Loctite 505 is supposed to do the job.
  3. Jonny Durand on a WORLD RECORD distance Hang glider flight in Texas (Old record is about 700km). Follow the closing moments http://chorlton.homeip.net/spotmap/zapata.html
  4. Well I drove around there this morning and there is already a SIGNIFICANT amount of money poured into the development of the area... new rail hub on the cards too I have been told. This will be a goer for sure I reckon.
  5. Yup, better yet...Leave the old Runways and make an airpark!!
  6. They just spent a truckload upgrading the current airport... also a bit of history there... I think the original location (or alternate) for the city airport once suggested was a similar location to this new one. Not sure it will be an easy road ahead for Wagners. Who knows what the local politicians would be thinking... Should be more airports and less trees everywhere IMHO
  7. OH Yeh it's a 503 .... sorry got 582's on my mind
  8. EGT and Water temp is sufficient Jamie
  9. It is a very bad joke... I had to empty my carry on out of Brisbane to Cairns because I had a (very nearly empty) roll of electrical tape... it was confiscated WTF!

    Helicopter flying

The smaller they are the HARDER they are to fly (reasonably true in all types of Helo).Yes Real Flight has saved me thousands... the set up is critical (especially on a TREX 450), as Blue Drifter says you must have them set up for trim, balanced and well tracking blades or it will all go wrong very easily. This can't be stressed enough... Even a perfectly set up T Rex 450 will slowly oscillate around a little. Unlike fixed wing you NEVER stop working the controls, for example if you pitch nose down you cant just expect the the nose to pitch up when you release the stick like a plane would... Sold all my kit to help by the Drifter... Getting motivated for another reading this
  13. Voted for a forum but I think you are likely to find that most contributors will be from the existing forums as there are many very well embedded pure RC / Model Forums already in existence that would be unlikely to see tragic divert over here...
  14. Thanks Patrick
  15. It wasn't me that asked but I would like a copy please [email protected] Cheers, Tex
