  1. I was looking at the for sale section in December RAA mag and notice that aircraft for sale. new was still getting his eye in.
  2. Have these aircraft had any issues. I did see one of this type at narromine NATFLY and haven't seen one since. are they not a popular aircraft?

    sounded like a great adventure. was the weather on your side. being from Victoria I know the it can be very un kind to light aircraft.

  8. VA for the sling is 91
  9. At the moment I private hire a sling and have notice. that the VNO is 110. and the VNE is 135. that not a big difference. And a C172 is around 165 vno is 110

  11. Hi I started in GA flying then moved over RA. I have noticed on RA aircraft that the difference in cruise and VNE is very small compared to GA types.

  14. I was flying an aircraft that seemed to have a disturbing vibration at 4700 rpm but above and below that RPM it was fine. does anyone have any idea what would cause this.

  19. I have never flown a light aircraft in NZ but have flown into Christchurch more time then I remember and the scenery is just awesome.

I do tend to err on the side of caution. for instance I spend more time checking the aircraft than I do flying it. today the aircraft I hired had an issue with the trim. when I cycled It on the display it would only show full up and neutral. Not down so I had to shut the aircraft down and get out and have a look. I found out later that it had not been calibrated properly!

  22. I went out in the sling 8515 today thinking there would be less aircraft around on a weekday. I was wrong lots of people flying today. I was joining crosswind for 12 and noticed four aircraft waiting and one on final. One Idea I like is the color of the FOXBAT. I follow him in the circuit today and that yellow is very easy to see.

  24. I try be very careful. take any risks. And most of that is because of my Lack confidence. I have been told this would get better when I become a 150 to 200 hour plus pilot.
