  9. good on ya. I am changing over from GA to rec and my first take off in a tecnam s2002 was very interesting i was not expecting it to go left in a hurry and i was not on the ball and the right rudder peddel. so we where heading for the runway lights and i thought no problem i will just pull it into the air. i was pulling up and she was pushing down. but in the end i did get off the ground with all the runway lights intact. After that i was for the Tecnam take off rudder boot. Paul

  14. I have found that in a tecnam s2002 that it's very important to ge the trim right when on final or it can go outside VFE fast. I have seen some training videos from the US where they teach full flap approch stalls something thats not done here i think. Paul
  15. Since i was the one who opened this can of worms. I should say this. I have had good instructors and one who spent more time thinking of there forthcomming Job at the airlines. the person who tested me for my GFPT A very good pilot called John lindsey. showed me that best way was not to let the wing drop by keeping it all centre. I still have less than one hundred hours and try to aviod stalls by flying the aircraft proply and if i want to go out and do stalls i will be talking a instructor with me. Paul
  16. When i first sarted flying in 99 i was told to never use Aileronto pick up the wing after the stall. now i was reading the Jim davis PPL book and he says its ok to use the Aileron to help recover from a stall? shafs64

  25. I feel the same as you with the flying lack of confidence saw a person die on my first and last time at skydiving. I have been stopping and starting to get my licence since 1999!! And I am about to have another attempt at it this week at Adelaide biplanes. Some people instructors have said to me if you are not enjoying it you should just burn your money and not waste your time flying. I will not go to my grave saying I wish I finished my license I don’t care how much it costs. All the best Shafs
