  1. My unregistered aircraft count prediction from a few months ago is on track. 500/3400(??) = approx 15% of the fleet grounded for some reason or another. Plus the 100 or so that have been refused rego. 30% by march next year.
  2. Sorry Frank - I was hinting at the 'Toll' when things go wrong with medicators. It was always denied by several of the companies involved. Overdose of urea...
  3. Ignore my spelling. Damn Apple autocorrect. 'Water medication' is a way of treating nutrient deficient cattle. In large parts of northern oz the grass lands lack certain minerals and the feed itself is fairly tough to digest. Hence certain minerals and other goodies are mixed in a small water tank and then added to the drinking water at controlled rates to resolve the issues. A major portion of this is Urea. Mixed with diesel found on many 'environmentally controlled' bore pumps will get any little rent a cop excited at the machine. It has fallen out of favour of late due to the 'accidents'.
  4. Failed a test at Alice springs a couple of years ago when I was working with water meditators. Lot of explaining to do in regards to why I tested positive to nitropil... Full search etc..
  5. So by the end of the year there will be a 3 month wait for reregistration. In 3 1/2 years no one will be flying. Based on 1100 short fall. 1100/3600 = about 30.5% the fleet will be waiting 3.66 months from date of expiry at last months rate. Raa has less than 3 years left....
  6. So they are still going backwards.. 1200 odd aircraft will have no rego within 12 months.. 50 per week (less Xmas) = 2500.. How many aircraft do we have?
  7. I remember my sparky teacher was a 'friend'. Awesome photos of what not to do nearly every lesson. Next door neighbour was a 'friend' for the logging industry here in Victoria. Same sort of deal with call outs at all sorts of hours. A fair few of the unions also have a sanctioned investigator. Anything can be achieved if someone actually just does something...
  8. You missed a third option - 'friend of the court'. You would be amazed what you could achieve with a couple of phone calls. I have the contact details of a high (state) level coroner if u would like it. Hell.. They never say now to a free coffee.
  9. Funny how they now charge $65/5yrs.. Used to be free for life. The licence change over was easy, just provided them with a copy of the old oh&s tickets. (And more $$$)
  10. Kawasaki 650 versus. :). Love it. It would be interesting to see what people actually hold licences to operate. I suspect that most pilots would have a wider range than the general public. Heavy rigid, Car, Bike, forklift, crane (20t), skid steer and boat. Good thing we don't have marriage licences here in Australia.
  11. Yep secured.. If your 'smart' with a andriod based phone it is posible to 'borrow' some of the newer cars with integrated bluetooth systems without stepping foot in the car. Bluetooth connections can be hacked in less than 10 minutes and there is no security between the low speed bus (bluetooth) and the high speed bus (CAN Bus). Park Assist will even give you steering as well as the normal throttle and brakes.. Ah the Ford Sync (&VW, Volvo etc) system at its finest. No such thing as secured in this day and age.
  12. lol.. They were in fairly good nick with matching engine and body numbers. Its amazing whats sitting in the sand dunes a bit further west. couple of thousand rum bottles including the corks. Ah those were the days.
  13. Tomo - Are the two white utes still sitting out in the dump????
  14. http://www.motoart.com/ Love the spa bath.. Perfect addition to any pilots ego. ;) It's surprising what springs up when you do a google search for recycled aircraft furnture.
  15. The wing would make an awesome desk if you cleaned it up a touch. :)
  16. Very Interesting as he also holds a commonwealth office and he has powers (as delegated) from CASA which are directly related to the current situation. Federal offences have possibly been comitted and this needs to be raised with the AFP, ASIC and ATO asap. Doesn't RAA recieved federal funding?
  17. In which state was the comment about off the records sent from? I really hope it was from the NSW side of the border because he can join a few ex labour pollies. ICCC.
  18. This may go someway to explaining 'roosters' for our non strine speaking friends. lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTuYiLT9oMw
  19. That would be a couple of good looking Rosters in a Hilux.. No one in a falcon would have a hope these days. lol
  20. Hmm - as they say. Where's there smoke there's fire. Lol
  21. Hell - Eugene didn't get a mention in anyway, shape or form in the presidents report.
  22. Sorry Guys - Im a Lesiban trapped in a mans body.
  23. CFA has a few photos on their facebook page.
  24. My racv total care would cover the costs in this situation. There is roadside insurance and then there is insurance.
