Can only be a Foxbat A22ls, more than enough shoulder room and no bloody control stick to get stuck on your legs --- great stall speed and more than enough cruise --90 knots for xcountry work, an all round excellent trainer and very safe aircraft to fly, has to be a Foxbat, go fly one and them make up your mind. Hi All, I am attaching some photos taken by some fellow pilots and myself on recent flights out over the flooded areas around Toowoomba/Pittsworth/Cecil Plains/Dalby/Kingaroy.

Hi All, This lot of photos is for those of you who are too young to have experienced this disaster and too those of you who remember and too any of you --- who like me went out every day and assisted in the relief operation, the joys of being in the Marine industry and owning a boat. Two photos [803648 & 804565] are of the area now know as south Bank and that is where the service department used to be, in '74, under water and 2 foot of silt covered the floor after the waters receded, and it took months of very hard and dirty,smelly work to clean the place. --- YUK!! Photo 771514 is a dredge wedged under the Centenary bridge at Jindalee and if you wanted a beer at the regatta Hotel then you had to own a boat. Let's hope this doesn't ever happen again. Pete.

The 4 Amigos spend the day flying from YCAB . YCCA pit stop > YROM lunch and some time with the Roma Aero Club boys. Then on to Caboolture via a pit stop in Dalby for coffee. My friend Mike goes for an aerobatic and low level flight in a Chinese fighter aircraft a Nanchang CJ-6 Mike, who is already a pilot had this desire to do some aerobatic flying, something he can't do in his own aircraft as it's not certified for that type of flying. Hi Chris, Sorry for the delay in replying.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> We tracked direct from Temora to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Wollongong</st1:place></st1:City> -- 2.6Hrs, with an enforced overnight stay in the 'Gong' [rain]--- but I'm glad now it happened as we got to meet the guys from HARS and did a tour of the great work they do.<o:p></o:p> From the 'Gong' we went via Victor 1 to Camden Haven [Dick Smith's old place] then on to Port Macquarie for fuel and then home to YCAB, total flying time for that day was 6.2Hrs ---- YWOL > YTRE [landed but no fuel available] 2.4Hrs, YTRE > YCMH [land and morning tea with our host and hostess] 0.4Hrs, YCMH > YPMQ [fuel] 0.4Hrs, YPMQ via coastal to YCAB 3.0Hrs.<o:p></o:p> There was no discernable difference between the 160 and the 170, we were both at our MTOW on each of the legs and the 170 may have half a poofteenth quicker, but there was nothing in it.<o:p></o:p> Thanks for the invite, my fellow conspirators on that trip to YTEM are just inching for a new adventure, so I will stoke some hot coals under their backsides and let you know what happens, I would love to do a trip to Bathurst and will be in touch soon.<o:p></o:p> Best regards, Pete. <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>

Mike,Bill,Bob and I fly from Caboolture to Temora for Natfly then return to YCAB via Victor1 past Botany Bay and Sydney then along the NSW coast back home to Queensland, and adventure never to be forgotten.
