  1. I'm in Adelaide Does it work with paint?? Instead of powder coating?? If someone in Adelaide does it that would be preferable. But basically that's exactly what I'm after Thanks lyndon
  2. That's what I'm after Lyndon
  3. I really want it printed or engraved. I don't know the process. I can cut the holes out and paint it. Then I just need it printed? Lyndon
  4. I'm finalising my panel in my kit. Can I get it engraved here in Australia if I get a blank panel. The cost as add on is outrageous. Thanks Lyndon
  5. Ok. Stein in the US at the current exchange rate. 57 cents per foot. Local here in Adelaide at EDMO is 54 cents per foot. That's 🍎 for 🍎 That's at their door pricing. No brainer, I will get all I need at EDMO. Lyndon
  6. I've just emailed EDMO They are in Adelaide so that's convenient Lyndon
  7. I believe 18 and 22 With some coaxial as well. Some different colours, just need to decide on lengths. From what I see it's very cheap in the US, will it sent to KitFox and they can stick in the crate. Lyndon
  8. I think so. I'm will get it via the USA with my kit. Whats a good shopping list of what to get. Lyndon
  9. Will do
  10. GEA25 I think your correct. I've misunderstood. I will have to order one of the above as well. Lyndon
  11. True. I never thought of that. I can use it remotely. Plenty of room on the panel. I will probably change that now. Thanks Lyndon
  12. Fantastic, thanks so much. One last question, I've opted for a remote radio. I will use it thru the G3x. Im thinking it's modern and will be fine. I also like the idea of working on one panel. I have also opted for the AP 507 head unit. ( Which is contrary to the above). My thinking is I like to feel knobs and buttons and wheels when making inputs to the way the aircraft flys. Right choice on the Radio? Thanks Lyndon
  13. Thanks , the GPS is not accurate enough for VFR ??? The G5 will have an antenna for its GPS. I'm guessing the G3X will have the same set up. Thus two independent GPS units, or would they share the same remote antenna?? Lyndon
  14. I've got all those items you listed sorted except the Magnotomer and engine interface ( not required for the Rotax). I take it the G5 back up shares the same Pitot tube ?
  15. The magnotomer, what exactly does it do and is necessary for VFR. Thanks Lyndon
  16. I've got a good printer for labels. I'm building a Kitfox with a 916 Rotax Lyndon
  17. Thanks. I'm happy to pay a little extra for peace of mind. Pretty important stuff. Lyndon
  18. The G3X Garmin. It requires some other ancillaries for it to operate. What actually else do I need to buy with it. Pitot Tube, AOT probe, I believe it has an inbuilt GPS. So do I need a remote GPS or areiel for it to operate correctly. Does it need a magnetometer??? Does it need anything else. I want to save on bundled shipping. Thanks Lyndon
  19. Thanks. I'm not a fan of the cost and complexity.. So it will have no lights at this stage. Thanks Lyndon
  20. Where do you guys get your aviation wire supplies from. Lyndon
  21. I'm building a VH Experimental. Is it a requirement to have any of the above. Thanks Lyndon
  22. Kitfox SuperSport.
  23. I've ordered the kit with roll and pitch only. We are talking 12 months away before I have to fit servos. A lot can change but Dynon at this stage. I believe I can always fit the yaw servo afterwards if needed. Maybe just pre wire it in the fuselage. Thanks Lyndon
  24. Done Thanks
  25. Thanks. That makes sense. You have been happy with the Dynon ?
