Just found this thread .... I'm unregistered now so it seems ... S h i t ... 37 pages to browse through people!!!!!! I've got to ask the question - WTF is going on!!! Don't know....... and thats the problem. The people running this show won't tell us either.

I notice that the president has appologised on behalf of RAAUS for the delays in registrations. Why not appologise on behalf of himself and the CEO for the mess. I dont like to think I'm partly responsible for the delays as a RAAUS member.

Vw prop driver has arrived from Great Plains in the states. Gotta admit its a beautifull piece of machining. Only took a couple of weeks from ordering to delivery.

We few, we unhappy few, we band of brothers.................................. Its seems we are a minority in this debacle. Can we not use OUR magazine to outline the proposed general meeting and what is required by the members to help get this organisation back on its feet .

Just a thought...................... though probably not a bright one. Just a shame to see someone get the chop if it wasnt deserved. If ST couldnt cut it as CEO, How can he he be trusted to get it right with rewritting the Ops Manual???????

I think the main point here in all this is not the fact that registrations cant be processed, but the fact that our esteamed leaders have not done what has been required and requested by CASA in the first place. Why did they fail in the first audit????? and why did they not fix things back then. Is it pure lazzieness on their part or something more sinister.

I've been told that RAAUS failed an Audit again and it could be next week by the time it's sorted.

I agree with Ian that as members there must be a way to remove those persons who have let things get to this point. Obviously they have not forfilled their obligations and have let the organisation slide into a hole that only seems to be getting deeper and deeper. Without trying to look like a rat thats jumping from a sinking ship, I would have no qualms changing to another organization that could offer better services. How many of us change phone companies, insurances, banks etc...etc because of better services. Another thought....................(aghhhh my aching head) If RAAUS is not forthcoming on what the actual problem is then why don't we find out from CASA direct?

I'll definately sign.Can't wait to see an end to this. On another note, maybe NZ has it right with its two organizations and its insurance setup.Competition would do RAAUS good and help keep them a bit more honest and upfront.
