    I agree Tomo but If you did own it you would have to make up an exhaust that changes the not a bit, You would hate to hear an engine that sounds like a aircompressor

    Turbo, Good reply and I agree with the theoritical flights, Even though it would be a miscalculation or poor planning that put you in a position like Ian's it would be better to know how to fix and learn instead of turning a bad decision into a fatal one. Just a thought

    Good point Brent, I noticed in the add it said "motor was run about 4 years ago and not since". If it wasn't inhibited I would hate to see the inside of those bores.

    I agree Tomo, Even though it is not the correct way as we should land before last light there could be so many variables that effect that. An example of this could be we start the 30mins flight back to airport "A" with 50mins till last light. Then when arriving back at the field we find that an aircraft is stuck an blocking the runway. Nearest airfield is 25mons away but that puts us into an "afterdark" situation. Your sugestion would definately be helpfull:thumb_up:

    Havent camped out with a plane yet but when I go on my bike I take a two person tent. It is called a "Stealth Mesh" and is made by Blackwolf. Weighs under 2kg's more like 1 and survived Phillip Islands rain without a single drop inside. I couldn't recomend this tent enough it is warm, dry and a good size. Another good feature is when you put it up it's main structure is a mesh type material and then the outside cover goes on. In the summer you can just sleep in the mesh under the stars Black Wolf Adventure Gear - adventure
