From memory a PC12 only needs about 500mtrs ground roll for take off? I know the ones that come into the farm strip are off the ground at about the same place a loaded 172 is.

Bit of team work from others saved this chap in his open class glider some major grief. A dodgy video but you can see at the start the tail cover still on.

Wouldn't that make you sick, turning up and finding your plane like that. I even tie down the C206 when I bring it home, only takes a few minutes and it can save you some serious sweat!

I got a hole in the top of my canopy which I stick my finger out after licking it. If the front of my finger gets' cold I know I have airspeed...

Thanks for the help guys, will look into a few different ways and see how it goes! Arthur, I haven't had a real good test of it yet, but done about 15 minutes in the air with it and it goes pretty well, though I will like to pitch it up a bit more as it will rev out a bit much, climb out is improved dramatically though. And so much smoother it's not funny. My tank was starting to leak so decided I won't fly it till I fix that.
