It did look to me like it stalled and dropped in on the left... Apparently she was a feisty girl and much loved by all who rode her...did you see the pilot give her an affectionate pat?
I believe the mining "boom" held things not related to mining up out west... Hopefully now the mines are in production things will settle down and a "normal" economy can resume...and with it the factory...

I would be very wary unless I had certain hard copy clarification that it was safe to do so from the manufacturer. There are Ra aircraft that can be deadly without the canopy/doors fully latched... Texan and Sav come to mind.

A non qualified and totally unprepared and untrained person was able to land a 747 with only spoken assistance no problem.
I reckon there is a lot of this old Super8 footage hanging around...lets hope whoever's hands it lands up in understands it's importance before it is lost to history...
