    Airstrip is currently in very good operational condition , unregulated,  grass over sand , 680mtrs , 3 windsocks, perimeter markers. Please pay $30 landing fee at Shop adjacent to parking/tiedown area. CCTV monitored.

    Please keep clear of Lifeflight heli-pad and ground lighting around heli-pad.

    Landing fees at the Orchid Beach airstrip will increase to $30.00 per landing with immediate effect. To maintain the airstrip in the best possible condition with a limited revenue stream the current $20.00 fee is no longer adequate. We thank all users of the airstrip for their understanding and also thank the friendly team at Orchid Beach Trading Post for their assistance in collecting landing fees on our behalf.
