Congratulations, well done, and keep trying to encourage the missus. Mine swore I would never get her up in a Gazelle (too small, she has never been in anything smaller than a Jumbo) but after her first flight and a small xcountry, she is a little bit better. Try and get her involved in helping you, navigation, timing, lookout etc Anyway, have fun and wear them wings with pride Cheers Bryon

Darky, contrary to popular opinion, size does not matter. I am 6 foot (180cm) but I still stuffed up a couple of landings the other day I was in a Jab 160 and just could not get it right. I went home very pxxxxd off It happens to all of us..

Darky, one of the tips I have picked up is a simple checklist that I use whenever I am am taxying out to the runway CHIFFTAR C controls full and free H hatches and harnesses secure I instruments - check and set F fuel - switches on - tank selected - pressure OK - qty checked F flaps checked T trim for takeoff A area all clear R radio on & correct frequency it is basic and covers all of the essentials Hope this helps Bryon :thumb_up:
