    People in glass houses should not throw stones ? What are the situations where gear up happens ? In a 210 shirley the undercarriage buffet would prompt ?...........?.... or could noise cancel headseats diminish that sensory perseption

    I sent this Council an email to southern downs regional council re Warwick airstrip - why not I said [email protected] I find it disappointing that your Council has decided to charge landing fees at airstrips – assuming next you will be installing toll gates to local parks, lakes and river banks The aviation economy is at best on shaky ground and needs to be protected and valued by local authorities – in time of need your airstrips will prove useful and a saviour to your Shire Those pilots that use your airstrips are in part the grass roots of aviation - you also receive economic benefit from airstrip assets Please show economic logic and encourage aviation – not discourage it

    Sometimes ? ......... a Council will charge an annual fee for local aircraft who's home is the local strip Ask Council - they might see this as fairer and more manageable - accounting concept is ....... locals pay bread and butter - visitors get fleeced

    oh how we are living in stupidity .................. this thread reminds me of the QLD anti gang laws (revoked) that from memory stated it was illegal for 3 or more gang members to congregate apart from this thread being collusive ((fraudulently contrived by agreement) - love it .... keep it going) ........ the definition of 'flyin' surely must be written by those same smart bods from QLD ? but, its easy me for to throw rocks at a legislator and yes surely the legislator feels insulted at my lack of understanding - however, irrespective of the legislator's vastly superior understanding on the subject I still can't think its all inane legislation and the 'age of reason' surely must be around the corner

    its your first thought isn't it ? - just build full size having said that I take my hat of to the builder - must be a lot harder to fly remotely - seems a bit underpowered - probably cause of weight limit .................... how much would something like that be worth Dominicm ?? (got to be at least 25 to 50% of piloted plane ?)

    ..... are you sure thats it ? SSCBD in the course of students flight training - at some time the student must do solo work (god forbid) - assuming the solo rate is then charged to the student when the student flies solo

    if he going to stay in the new work location - why does n't he do some dual flying with that flight school - that might reassure the flight school that 'new bloke' is competent its their aircraft so I guess they choose who fly's it ............... having said that they may be busy enough, the plane is fully utilised and they don't need new customers (........ a rare business that does n't need new business / customers)

    the purpose of a flyin / airshow is to see aeroplanes ................ why discourage anyone flying in ... because of an entry fee ? arrivals by plane want to pay nothing. The organisers want to charge as best they can. There must be logically a 'top' fee where no one would arrive by plane because it stings the back pocket to much you need to charge the seething hordes that arrive ....... weighed down by gravity at the earths surface at the gate (not the ones that fly in)

    the annual rate bill is not enough ? ............. they're gunna slug you at the boat ramp ! bureaucracies have an insatiable need for money - they are a prime inflationary cause in my book if you apply the same logic re fees / tolls ......................... they'll have to put a toll on: - entry into the library - entry to public toilets - fence all parks and charge entry through gates - fence all rivers and charge entry through gates - fence all beaches and charge entry through gates - fence all airstrips and charge entry through gates

    I like post 113 is it an actual need from 3rd parties like insurers ............ etc or as post 113 suggest - the RAA bodies need for more members. Isn't more and more cash flowing in (from new members) called a ponzi scheme (sarcasm ....................sorry)

    it would be interesting to know circumstances of why the chute was pulled on the Sirius ? prop seems to be spinning - was it a factory test ?
