  1. We go on about aviation safety and IMO these overseas students who are not up to an acceptable english standard is one of our biggest safety threats.
  2. I'm 6 foot and weigh 100 kg. Which is pretty normal these days for my height.

  4. It is pointless having the english test because all the foreigners who can't speak or understand english for crap are still going to be signed off by the RTO's. The schools are not going to shoot themselves in the foot and lose business by failing them.

  13. I dont think trailering a Drifter regularly is practicable. There is a great SB Drifter for sale ATM. Tex here on this site has one for sale.

  15. Well I would certainly make sure I grabbed my carry on bag then in an emergency, I wouldn't want my spare Rolex watch , gold chains and thousands of dollars worth of jewellery being destroyed.
  16. Actually the airlines should be compensating passengers for any personal items lost in a crash and /or fire .

  22. Apparently a brand new the engine is around $34 000. Ouch Ps- I do approx 5 000 kays in my privately owned 4.2 turbo Patrol a year and I do approx 25 000 kays a year in my Toyota Landcruiser V8 ute. I love my work cruiser, I have been all over SE QLD in her.

  24. Off the subject but to put things into perspective, the Toyota V8 Diesel that powers my work ute has injectors which apparently cost around $1000 each. So a eight grand bill if/when they all need changing. Unfortunately every thing these days cost a lot of coin.
