Via focusing on one country alone I have clearly demonstrated in this thread via the links to recent Indian commentary on the massive doubling in their current coal rail network and the building of whole new rail lines to new Indian coal mines that this is not the case.
There is also the fact that an Indian based company is looking to establish more coal mines in Australia to further help India get power to the 250,000,000 Indians that do not currently have access to cheap reliable coal based power.
Just waving a hand and claiming coal is over and that we should just build wind towers is not only Not looking at the facts, it is bordering on a religious type of deliberate ignorance of the facts.
