Heroism: How a Young U.S. Air Force B-1B Bomber Crew Saved an Aircraft and Crew Lives
This defines what a tight knit military crew is like, RESPECT
I wonder which member of the ground crew failed to pull out the safety lock on the seat before releasing the aircraft for use.
old mate's career would be over though, gotta stick to the script regardless of situation
I think his career & credibility are in tact, it’s called flexibility, I’m sure there’s no QRH procedure that deals with a fire plus crew member seat u/s.
the B-1B is a nuclear bomber, what he did was collapse under stress.
It's amazing what can happen when you roll the dice.
I do reckon they need to check more than the seat safety pins.
