I am impressed...!
There is a guy building a full size one at Wedderburn that sounds similar
Grab a set of plans here - www.spitfireaircraftco.com and put that spare Allison V12 you have lying around to good use!
This is the BEST 80% Spitfires ever designed. The Talley Ho Mk1 that make other's 80% just want-to-be's
The photo is a real spitfire overlay-ed onto the Talley-Ho - says it all
I personally consider this one of the best replica ever designed.

Wouldn't you want a merlin?
I believe the Allison's are much cheaper to purchase, run and repair.......
I think that's one of the reasons that the P40 has been the focus of alot of rebuilds.
Well if you really like woodwork and want a spitfire US$2-4,000 for plans that need an allison v12 is OK ... or for less woodwork and less cash £190 for plans for the Issacs Spitfire delivered to your Australian door - and it will fly within RAAus regn and on a O-200 or Jabiru or R912
I don't think the one in the video is a "SAC" spitfire as per your link.
It looks like it is a Marcel jurca. http://www.marcel-jurca.com/index.p...100-deford-n1940k&catid=21&Itemid=248&lang=en
