Monarch Gyroplane Inaugural Flight From New Airfield.

Finally got the Monarch relocated to the new strip a 5 minute drive from home. . The strip is great. The new landing gear (GFATLG) works like a dream. The 23 1/2 foot composite blades are working well. Monarch has the whole package now. G Force Landing Gear with All Terrain capability. Ideally suited to this new strip frequented by rabbits, wombats and motorcycle enthusiast. The Metro Launch System pre-rotator gets the aircraft off the ground in 5-7 seconds and G Force allows for stop and drop, zero roll landings. Next step is to test a set of 25 foot tip weighted aluminium bonded blades, 17 lbs lighter than the composites.
